Asphalt Crack Sealing
Prevent asphalt from further deterioration by sealing cracks and vulnerable areas in your pavement. Water leads to subbase erosion and worsens the damage from freeze-thaw cycles, causing cracking and spalling. Sealing your cracks before the damage is done is one of the most cost-effective ways to extend the life of your asphalt.
Crack Cleaning & Filling
When sealing surface cracks is no longer a viable solution, crack cleaning and filling is recommended to extend the life of asphalt pavement by reducing water intrusion and repairing damage beneath the surface. When damage to asphalt beneath the surface has occurred, filling cracks from the bottom can augment the subbase to slow the deterioration.
Slurry Leveling
Have you noticed various dips or depressions in your county roads? These recessed transverse joints are caused by deterioration underneath the pavement’s surface and require both structural and cosmetic correction. This is possible with slurry leveling. A mixture of emulsified asphalt, mineral aggregate, water, and cement is used to even out the road again. Slurry leveling is most successful when it follows Clean & Fill.
Slurry Strip Sealing
Slurry Strip Sealing is similar to Slurry Leveling, except that it is used to treat longitudinal depressions. Narrow depressions in pavement caused by wheel-tracks and other long-term wear can increase the risk of hydroplaning and snow build-up, putting drivers in danger. Slurry strip sealing will level these longitudinal depressions and centerlines to keep drivers safe.
Pavement Dressing Conditioner Treatment (PDC)
Unlike sealcoats, which merely coat the surface and do nothing to repair the underlying pavement, PDC penetrates the asphalt to chemically rejuvenate, revitalize, and protect the asphalt by replacing the tars and oils lost due to oxidation.PDC looks appealing and can extend the life of your pavement up to five years with each application.
Scrub Sealing Surface Treatment
Similar to a chip seal treatment, a scrub seal is an application to refinish and revitalize a pavement surface. When applied properly, a scrub seal can extend the life of a roadway for up to seven years. A scrub seal can be used in tandem with other surface-sealing treatments to maximize impact.
